Színház a határon
Csodálatos kezdeményezés vette kezdetét 2013-ban Nagyszelmencben. Fiatalok egy lelkes csoportja minden év augusztusában ingyenes kétnapos színi fesztivált szervez az érdeklődő közönség számára Színház a határon címmel.
A Színház a határon elnevezésű rendezvény egy 2-3 napos hétvégi programsorozat. A program középpontjában a színjátszás áll, miközben sok egyéb kulturális és szórakoztató műsor várja a nagyérdeműt. A hétvége alatt több féle színházi előadás (bábszínház, musical, dráma, vásári színdarabok), népzene, néptánc és egyéb kulturális előadások kerülnek színpadra. A szervezők egy olyan rendezvény megvalósítását tűzték ki célul, ami segít színesebbé tenni az itt élők kulturális életét. Fő céljuk azt volt, hogy közelebb hozzák a színházat, a kultúrát a község és a környék lakosaihoz, mivel a legközelebbi magyar színház a száz kilométerre fekvő Kassán található. Tudatosan azt a közönséget próbálják megszólítani, amely egyébként nem jutna el egyéb színielőadásokra. Tehát például a gyerekeket és az időseket. További céljuk a magyar kultúra, nemzet és identitástudat ápolása és megerősítése, valamint az, hogy a fiatalokat és idősebbeket közelebb hozzák egymáshoz. A fiatalokból álló szervezőcsapat fontosnak tartja az ifjúság bevonását mind a fesztivál előkészületeibe, mind a nézői páholyba. Fontosnak tartják a helyi közösség építését.
A fellépőket a szabadtéri színpad mérete és a költségvetés határolja be évről évre. Ezekhez próbálnak megfelelő társulatokat találni. Az eredetileg három- majd kétnapos rendezvénysorozaton a péntek mindig a gyerekeké, a Kalamajka Bábszínház eddig minden alkalommal eljött. A fellépők sora színes. A közeli-távolabbi amatőr csoportokon kívül bemutatkozott már a miskolci 4 Dance Club: eddig a ,,Képzelt riport egy amerikai popfesztiválról”, a ,, Dzsungel könyve”, és az ,,István, a király” szerepelt a repertoárjukon. Voltak a sátoraljaújhelyi Művelődési Központ színészei zenés kabaréesttel, a Karcsai Színtársulat a közismert ,,Sári bíróval”, a kassai Thália a ,,A vadkan Csotrogányéknál” zenés kabaréval, a Buzitai citerazenekar, a kárpátaljai ,,Csipkés” együttes, a Szekér Színház Móricz Zsigmond: ,,Szerelem” című darabjával.
Nemcsak a fellépők, hanem a nézők sora is színes. A rendezvény mindenféle korosztálynak szól, programját igyekeznek úgy összeállítani, hogy a legkisebbektől a legnagyobbakig, mindenki meglelje a magának tetsző színdarabot, előadást. Falubéliek, az ung- vidéki és bodrogközi régió lakosai, de a szomszédos kárpátaljai falvak lakói is rendszeresen látogatják a rendezvényt.
A fesztivál szervezője a Nagyszelmenci Finire Csemadok Alapszervezet, mely kilenc fiatal elhatározásából alakult meg 2012 tavaszán. A szervezet nevében azért szerepel a finire, vagyis a határ, vég szó latin megfelelője, mert a régi magyar falu az egyik utcáját kettévágó határszakasz által vált közismertté. A finirések fő célja hozzájárulni a nagyszelmenci közösségi élet fellendítéséhez.
A történelmi határmódosítások miatt e vidék már rég elvesztette kapcsolatát a gazdasági-szellemi központokkal, tehát egyrészt Ungvárral és Munkáccsal, másrészt Sárospatakkal. Színházszerető emberek így vagy Kassára járnak szellemi táplálékért, vagy – ahogy a világ kisebbedik – Magyarországra. Az a tény, hogy a rendezvényen évről-évre több száz ember fordul meg, önmagáért beszél: van szellemi igény, még itt a világnak egy kissé eldugott zugában is.
Divadlo na hranici, Veľké Slemence
Nádherná iniciatíva sa začala v roku 2013 vo Veľkom Slemenci. Nadšená skupina mladých ľudí organizuje každý rok v auguste bezplatný dvojdňový divadelný festival pre záujemcov s názvom Divadlo na hranici.
Podujatie Divadlo na hranici predstavuje sériu 2–3 denných víkendových programov. Program sa zameriava na divadlo, zatiaľ čo na účastníkov čaká aj veľa ďalších kultúrnych a zábavných programov. Počas víkendu sa uskutoční niekoľko druhov divadelných predstavení (bábkové divadlo, muzikál, dráma, jarmočné hry), ľudová hudba, ľudový tanec a ďalšie kultúrne vystúpenia. Organizátori sa rozhodli uskutočniť podujatie, ktoré prispeje k spestreniu kultúrneho života ľudí, ktorí tu žijú. Ich hlavným cieľom bolo priblížiť divadlo a kultúru obyvateľom obce a okoliu, keďže najbližšie maďarské divadlo sa nachádza v Košiciach vzdialených na 100 kilometrov. Vedome sa snažia osloviť publikum, ktoré by sa inak nedostalo k iným divadelným vystúpeniam, ako deti a starší ľudia. Ich ďalším cieľom je pestovať a posilňovať maďarskú kultúru, národnú identitu a zbližovať mladých a starších ľudí. Organizačný tím mladých ľudí považuje za dôležité zapojiť mládež do príprav festivalu a taktiež ako publikum. Budovanie miestnej komunity považujú tiež za dôležité.
Účinkujúci sú z roka na rok obmedzovaní veľkosťou vonkajšieho pódia a rozpočtom. Organizátori sa preto snažia nájsť vhodné skupiny. V pôvodnej troj- a potom dvojdňovej sérii podujatí je piatok vždy vyhradený pre deti, Bábkové divadlo Kalamajka doteraz každý rok bolo súčasťou programu. Rada účinkujúcich je pestrá. Okrem amatérskych skupín z blízkeho i vzdialeného okolia už účinkovali aj 4 tanečné kluby z Miškolcu: do ich repertoáru boli doteraz zahrnuté „Imaginárna správa o festivale amerického popu“, „Kniha džungle“ a „Kráľ Štefan. Nechýbali herci z Kultúrneho centra Sátoraljaújhely s večerom hudobného kabaretu, Divadelná spoločnosť Karcsai so známym „Sudca Sári“, Thália z Košíc s hudobným kabaretom „Diviak u Csotrogányiovcov“, Citarová skupina z Buzity, ľudová hudobná skupina Csipkés z Ukrajiny, a divadlo Szekér Zsigmonda Móricza s predstavením „Láska“.
Farebná je nielen ponuka účinkujúcich, ale aj divákov. Podujatie je otvorené pre všetky vekové kategórie, snažia sa zostaviť jeho program tak, aby si každý od najmenších po najstarie našiel hru alebo predstavenie, ktoré sa mu páči. Na podujatí sa pravidelne zúčastňujú dedinčania, obyvatelia Použia a Medzibodrožia, ako aj obyvatelia susedných dedín na Zakarpatsku.
Organizátorom festivalu je Základná organizácia Csemadoku Finire Veľké Slemence, ktorá vznikla na jar 2012 rozhodnutím deviatich mladých ľudí. Názov organizácie obsahuje latinský ekvivalent slova finire, teda hranica, pretože obec Veľké Slemence stala známou tým, že hranica rozdelila jednu z jej ulíc. Hlavným účelom podujatia je prispieť k rozvoji kultúrneho života obce Veľké Slemence.
Z dôvodu historických zmien na hraniciach tento región už dávno stratil spojenie s ekonomickými a intelektuálnymi centrami, tj s Užhorodom a Mukačevom na jednej strane a so Šárošpatakom na strane druhej. Týmto spôsobom ľudia, ktorí milujú divadlo, chodia do Košíc alebo aj do blízkeho Maďarska. Skutočnosť, že sa na podujatí každoročne objavia stovky ľudí, hovorí jasnou rečou: aj tu v mierne skrytom kúte sveta je tu duchovná potreba.
Theatre on the Border
A wonderful initiative started in 2013 in Veľké Slemence. An enthusiastic group of young people organizes a free two-day theatre festival for interested audiences in August each year entitled Theatre on the Border.
The Theatre on the Border event is a series of 2-3 days weekend programs. The program focuses on acting, while many other cultural and entertainment programs await the high-profile. During the weekend, several types of theatrical performances (puppet theatre, musical, drama, fair plays), folk music, folk dance and other cultural performances take place. The organizers set out to implement an event that helps to make the cultural life of the people living here more colourful. Their main goal is to bring the theatre and culture closer to the inhabitants of the village and the surrounding area, as the nearest Hungarian theatre is located in Košice, hundred kilometres away. They are consciously trying to reach an audience that would not otherwise get to other performances. So, for example, children and the elderly. Another goal is to nurture and strengthen Hungarian culture, nation and identity, and to bring young and older people closer together. The organizing team of young people considers it important to involve the youth both in the preparations for the festival and in the spectator lodge. Building local community is considered important.
Performers are limited by the size of the outdoor stage and the budget from year to year. They are trying to find suitable companies for these. In the original three- and then two-day series of events Friday is always for the children, the Kalamajka Puppet Theatre has always come. The line of performers is colourful. In addition to the amateur groups from near and far, the 4 Dance Club in Miskolc has already performed: so far, the “Imaginary Report on an American Pop Festival”, the “The Jungle Book” and “István, the King” have been included in their repertoire. There were actors from the Sátoraljaújhely Cultural Centre with a musical cabaret evening, the Karcsai Theatre Company with the well-known “Sári bíró”, Thália from Košice with the musical cabaret “At the Wild Boar at Csotrogányék”, the Buzita Zither Orchestra, the Transcarpathian „Csipkés“ band, the Szekér Theatre with the play of Zsigmond Móricz: Love.
Not only the line of performers but also the line of viewers is colourful. The event is for all ages, they try to compile its program in such a way that everyone from the youngest to the oldest, everyone can find the play or performance they like. Villagers, residents of Použie region and Medzibodrožie region, as well as residents of the neighbouring villages in Transcarpathia, also regularly attend the event.
The festival is organized by the Finire Csemadok Basic Organization of Veľké Slemence, which was formed in the spring of 2012 by the decisions of nine young people. The name of the organization includes the Latin equivalent of the word finire, ie border, because the old Hungarian village became well-known by the border section dividing one of its streets. The main purpose of the finire-people is to help boost community life in Veľké Slemence.
Due to the historical border changes, this region has long lost its connection with the economic and intellectual centres, ie with Uzhhorod and Mukachevo on the one hand, and Sárospatak on the other. In this way, theatre-loving people either go to Košice for spiritual food or, as the world becomes smaller, to Hungary. The fact that hundreds of people turn up at the event every year speaks for itself: there is a spiritual need, even here in a slightly hidden corner of the world.
